With its rustic charm and modern comforts, the NEST at Rosewood provides a sanctuary for members to unwind, connect with nature, and embark on a journey of self-discovery.

Rosewood Farm is a private family property, not a public destination. We share The Nest exclusively with members of our private association and their invited guests, all of whom must enter into a binding agreement before their stay. We ask that you honor the privacy, boundaries, and trust that make sharing this special place possible.
Your stay at The Nest includes the upstairs retreat, along with the stage and granite courtyard adjoining the barn. You’re welcome to enjoy a meal, sit outdoors, or simply take in the beauty of the Hill Country. We kindly ask that you refrain from exploring the downstairs barn, private family areas, or other parts of the property unless arrangements have been made in advance.
Please do not enter any fenced areas. Our wild stallions are beautiful to admire from a distance, but for everyone’s safety, we ask that you do not approach, touch, or photograph them, or enter any area where they are kept.
You’re welcome to feed the goats and chickens, but please remember that our animals are part of farm life, not a petting zoo.
And a little word of caution about outdoor dining: Rosewood is home to a lively assortment of free-roaming chickens, turkeys, and feral cats. They have very little understanding of personal space and even less respect for an unattended dinner! Keep an eye on your food, as our feathered and four-legged residents are known to invite themselves to the table.
Life at Rosewood Farm has its own rhythm, a little wildness, and plenty of personality. We simply ask that you enjoy it while respecting the spaces, animals, and people who call it home.

The Nest is a retreat tucked into the upper level of a working barn, where nature is very much part of the experience. You may hear the gentle creaking of timbers, find leaves carried in by the breeze, or encounter the occasional visitor from the outdoors, despite our best efforts to keep them at bay.
The Nest is not a five-star hotel, nor is it meant to be. It is a peaceful, rustic escape where the comforts of home meet the beautiful imperfections of country living. We invite you to arrive with a spirit of adventure, an appreciation for nature, and a willingness to embrace the charm of life in a barn.

The bathtub at The Nest was designed with nature in mind—an open, peaceful place to soak, unwind, and enjoy the view.
The water gets wonderfully hot, but it may take a few minutes to arrive. Simply let it run and give it a little time.
The jets are operated by a button located to the right of the tub. Please be mindful of the water return, as the suction is quite strong. Keep your legs, washcloths, and other items clear of the suction opening while the jets are running.
A little note about privacy: The bathing area is intentionally open to the surrounding landscape. It’s part of the experience, inviting you to feel connected to nature rather than separated from it. If you prefer a more private setting, a traditional shower and toilet are available downstairs in the barn.
We hope you’ll enjoy the simple pleasure of a long, warm soak and a little time to yourself.

Before you leave, we ask that you take a few moments to help us prepare The Nest for our next guests. We take great care in making this a welcoming and peaceful space, and your thoughtfulness helps us continue that tradition.
Towels: Please place all used towels inside the bathtub.
Bed linens: Please remove the sheets and pillowcases and leave them together in one pile by the door. The comforters and pillows can remain on the beds.
Trash: Please gather your trash, remove the bag from the bin, and tie it securely.
Kitchen: Please check the refrigerator and remove any food or beverages you’ve brought with you.
Final touches: Take a quick look around for personal belongings, and leave the space tidy and much as you found it.
